As Vice President of Marketing, Matt has global responsibility for all Widevine marketing initiatives. His worldwide role encompasses product management and marketing, channel marketing and marketing communications—as well as directing all of Widevine’s regional marketing groups in North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. Matt brings fifteen years of management and entrepreneurial experience to his role.
Prior to Widevine, he held senior marketing roles at WatchGuard Technologies, where he was responsible for an $80M network security product line and prior to that in a consultative role with Microsoft Corp. Matt is also serial entrepreneur most recently cofounding and successfully raising capital for a leading internet software services company. He is an international speaker on content security for digital media and IP content protection technologies and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
