1:00-2:15 PM
Room S219

The Service Delivery Platform (SPD) is grabbing hold as a revolutionary concept, a horizontal approach to delivering next-generation, converged services. Recent solutions for the SDP offer the ability to support voice call continuity and converged voice services. By utilizing the existing core network infrastructure, the SDP’s role in the provision of real-time agility for the delivery of services via Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), IP Multimedia Subsytems (IMS) and Web 2.0 will bolster the ability of industry players to make cost-effective decisions about network infrastructure while maintaining converged service offerings for their customers in the short term. A cross industry panel will explore the what, when and how of the Service Delivery Platform.
